San Francisco’s Dan Foldes founded Pint of Soul in 2011 out of the desire to capture unique musical performances by his talented group of musician friends in pleasantly  unexpected locations, and present them to the greater community in the most sonically and visually exciting way imaginable.

“After dedicating years to live concert mixing I was interested in experimenting with the the more creative aspects of filming and recording,” says Foldes. “It all started in 2011 when I invited my friend and blues singer/guitarist to an incredible-sounding tunnel in Golden Gate Park. All I had was my handheld field recorder, a couple mics, and a borrowed point-and-shoot camera. The resulting video had a great vibe and it was a blast to produce and share, which further sparked my passion to direct more performance videos and make each one better than the last.”
